CLASSROOM SET: Includes (4) sphere sizes - 3", 2.75", 2.5" & 2", (4) universal bases, (3) larger cutters for 2.5-3" spheres, (1) smaller cutter for 2" spheres, and (4) plungers (+$110)

Sphere Kits are designed to have a universal 'base' (large square with hole) for all sphere sizes. The 'cutter' is shaped like a flower and helps you form the sphere without excess clay resulting in smooth and even 1/8" walls. The large cutter works for 3", 2.75", & 2.5" spheres. The 2" sphere uses a smaller cutter. Kits do NOT work without a base. IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST SPHERE KIT PURCHASE, DO NOT REMOVE THE BASE OR CUTTER. When purchasing additional sizes, you have the option to remove the base and/or cutter to reduce cost and waste.

REMOVE THE BASE, I already have one! Bases are universal for all sizes 2-3". (-$5)

REMOVE THE CUTTER, I already have one for the 2.5-3" kit! If buying 2" kit, be sure to include cutter or you'll be sad! (-$5)

Sphere shaping kit includes a base, a 2-part hemisphere shaping mold, a plunger, and a cutter. The plunger, 2-part hemisphere shaping mold, and cutter will always match the selected sphere size.

I use this sphere shaping kit to create HOLLOW clay spheres with thin walls of 1/8". I use the spheres to make my jingle bells, moons, as well as my hollow blueberry ornaments. The cutter is used on a 1/8 inch clay slab to create a perfect EVEN walled hemisphere effortlessly within the mold. Combine two halves for a perfect sphere.
